These 1v1 events let you compete against your rivals, but you actually won’t need to complete any of them on the road to the Platinum Trophy. In the Career Menu, there’s a tab called “Throwdowns”. While playing every event in Career Mode, you will unlock a lot of unmissable story-related trophies and a couple of other misc trophies that become unmissable thanks to the fact that you’ll experience every map and event. You may find Very Easy difficulty to be too easy, because you can finish every race in first place with almost no effort, but it is the best way to ensure you get a lot of EXP and money. I recommend turning Auto-Braking off simply because it’s annoying and takes all of the fun out of the game, but everything else can be turned on. You can play on “Very Easy” Difficulty with no consequences, and can turn on as many Driving Assists as you like. This can be tough on the default difficulty settings, but after completing the tutorial at the start of the game you’ll be given access to the difficulty settings. To ensure a shorter trophy journey, you should try to finish in at least the top three, and play with cars that have a 1.2X Rewards Bonus. You can finish every race in 9th if you want, although that might leave you having to grind XP for Superstardom and Dollars for Checks and Balances. You don’t need to win every event or any of the secondary objectives. The first main objective to tackle in this Dirt 5 Trophy Guide is to complete every single event in the Career Mode.
